Strategies And Skills Of Sports English Translation

The author of the book, Ian Mrshall, was a famous former British professional football player. During his football career of more than twenty years, he had been playing for quite a few football clubs in FA Premier League. In this book, he elaborates on the history of Manchester United and the whole FA Premier League in an objective and accurate way that no counterpart can match. In this regard, it is chosen to be my object of study.On the premise of loyalty and given the reading habit of readers, I translate some of the chapters in an effort to express its style and charm. Meanwhile, with regard to five most-frequently used translation methods, I analyze the translation and come up with relevant comments according to the viewpoints of domestic and foreign experts.
