With the flourishing development of the public archaeology in our country, a lot of successful practical experience and studies of theoretical methods have been achieved. As the science popularization of archaeology has the longest history and is the most fundamental and significant part of public archaeology, it is essential to clarify its development history and status quo, as well as to summary the experience and approaches of creation, which is benefit to the better development of the creation of public science archaeology and offer a few commonplace remarks so that others may come up with valuable opinions in the discipline construction of public archaeology.This paper, firstly, sorts out the public science books of archaeology, and proposes a classification framework based on "professional-popular" dimension, under which analyses issues about motives of creation, audiences and reader group, social influence and demands. Secondly, combining the historical background and overall appearance of public science books of archaeology, it establishes a framework of age stages of these books, in order to analyze the characteristics of each stage, involving subjects, contents, objects, forms of related books, main goals and other issues of science popularization. At last, on the basis of classification and stage division, to the creation of public science books, it puts forward several Suggestions about optimization, including basic requirements, creative approaches, creative skills and something. In this way, this paper grasps the overall situation and the development process of archaeology popularization though constructing the "time-space framework" of public science books of archaeology, in order to play the role of reference and inspiration.
