Pragmatic Analysis Of Conflict Discourse In TV Players

Conflict talk is a common and sudden linguistic phenomenon in interaction.The specific performance is that one participant is disagreeing with anotherparticipant when they have different interests and opinions. Conflict talk research isan important field of pragmatics studies and originates from western discourse studies.Compared with the study abroad, our study on conflict talk needs to get improvedboth in range and quality, and there are lots of things we can do about this topic.Domestic researchers mainly focus on the conflict talk between teachers and students,between husband and wife, and use more English corpus in the study, few Chineseresearch in this field. Conflict between doctors and patients is a common type ofconflict, because of its high outbreak rate and long duration, causes more seriouslysocial influence and consequences.There are articles pay more attention to the communication understandingbetween doctors and patients, but also have no special article, which systematicallydiscuss the pragmatic strategies and its realistic problems about the doctor-patientconflict discourse. The study of doctor-patient conflict discourse in speechcommunication is helpful for us to have a deep understanding of discourse conflict. Inrecent years, the medical drama reflecting the doctor-patient relationship is boomingand producing great influence. The conflict discourse research into films andtelevision programs become a new exploration of scholars.This paper will have a careful study on the conflict talk between doctor andpatient in medical drama verbal communication from the pragmatic perspective,including speech act theory, context and cooperative principle. The data which iscollected from medical drama is corpus sources. This paper will adopt statistics,inductive analysis and documentary method to analyze the construction mode ofdoctor-patient conflict discourse, pragmatic strategies, the causes of discourse conflictand suggestion reduction of the doctor-patient conflict. Conflict talk contains threestages: initiation stage, maintenance and escalation stage and termination stage. Thispaper will analyze doctor-patient conflict discourse pragmatic motivation from the language performance. This paper will analyze the cause of doctor-patient conflictdiscourse from the perspective of context factors. Using the cooperative principle forcreation of medical theme film and television works for further research.In order to reduce the occurring, the paper help us to have a deepunderstanding of the inevitable and unpredictable language phenomenon through thepragmatic analysis of doctor-patient conflict discourse.
