In the minds of the people, the Nuo mask is god.This paper summarizes the origin, classification, artistic features, religious cultureand traditional production process of the Nuo mask, with the background of the XiangxiNuo mask and Chinese folk art, and based on the related literature and theorymonographs of folk mask. Meanwhile, a In-depth analysis to Nuo masks touristhandicraft market was carried out by the field survey method, and reveal a series ofserious problems of Nuo mask market, such as technology lost, single variety,poor-quality, and so on.
