A Study On The Pronunciation Of Modern Chinese Laughter

Laughter onomatopoeia is a part of modern Chinese words. With the development of information society, there are some new emerging members and new features in modern Chinese laughter onomatopoeia under internet content. In order to have a better knowledge of this social phenomenon, this paper combining social linguistic knowledge, using method of historical documents, corpus collection method and questionnaire method researches laughter onomantopoeia. There are five chapters in this paper.Chapter one is the analysis of classification and new features of laughter onomatopoeia.According to the time order and the differences of using conditions of collected corpus,laughter onomatopoeia is classified into traditional laughter onomatopoeia and new emerging laughter onomatopoeia. There are four new features of laughter onomatopoeia. The number and form of words are both increased, words’ emotional coloring are enriched, the application range enlarges from chatting tools and games, and it also becomes a new naming method,which frequently used in micro-blog, internet community, shops and games.Chapter two mainly talks about the awareness of laughter onomatopoeia. Chapter three is about the usage of laughter onomatopoeia. Chapter four mainly discusses about the attitude of the users. The result shows that the awareness of researched people is just so so. People know better about the traditional laughter onomatopoeia than the new type one. The applications of laughter onomatopoeia are pretty good, but the traditional type is more frequently used. The result shows that people have no specific attitude towards laughter onomatopoeia. The research also analyzes it based on different age, cultural background and frequency of internet surfing. The result shows that those people who are under their 30 s with higher education level and surfing the internet more frequently have a better situation of awareness and application of laughter onomatopoeia. And those people also seem to have a positive attitude towards laughter onomatopoeia.Chapter five is the conclusion and rethinking. In this part, the previous result is further analyzed. Then, the consideration about the “polysemy” and “homonymy” of laughter onomatopoeia and the causal usage. Related department and researchers should pay attention to regulating the writing form to make a model for citizens, at the same time, the significance and necessity of propaganda of the language’s application regulation should be strenthened.And improving citizens’ sense of self-discipline.
