This paper compared Harbin dialect and Beijing dialect from three aspects, that several closed parts of speech(including time words, location words, pronouns, and prepositions), affix system and basic vocabularies. By comparing the several closed parts of speech(including time words, location words, pronouns, and prepositions) and affix system, we counted the consistent rate of the time words in two dialects is 84%. The consistent rate of the location words is 100%. The consistent rate of the noun affixes is 100%. The consistent rate of the verb suffixes is 90%. The consistent rate of the adjective suffixes is 97.6%. And the consistent rate of the adjective prefixes is 87.5%. By comparing the 488 basic vocabularies in Harbin dialect and Beijing dialect, we counted the same and the similar vocabulary is 97.3%, the different vocabulary is 2.7%. These data suggest that Harbin dialect and Beijing dialect have high consistency in many aspects. It provides the basis of lexicology for division of Beijing Mandarin area. In addition, the paper also summarized the historical reasons why Harbin dialect and Beijing dialect are similar, and summarized the distinct words of the two dialects.
