The object of this paper is the preposition system of Harbin dialect. The study of dialect grammar is one of the most important topics in grammar research. In this paper,a corpus was established through field surveys and a large number of conversational recordings. With the combination of introspection tests and questionnaire surveys, the Harbin dialect preposition system was collected and sorted out. This article describes the Harbin dialect preposition system from three planes: syntactic, semantic and pragmatic. From the perspective of linguistic typology,it compares Harbin dialect prepositions with Mandarin and Mandarin dialect prepositions. At the same time,it combines the semantic map model theory to explore the semantic map of multi-functional words in Harbin dialect prepositions. This article is divided into six parts:The first is the "Introduction".This section mainly introduces the northeast and northeastern dialects, including the overview of northeast China, the research status of the dialect prepositions, and the research overview of the Harbin dialect prepositions. Finally,it describes the research methods, source of corpus, and theoretical value. The first part is "Harbin's dialect prepositional summary".This part firstly summarizes the definition of prepositions, then summarizes the classification of prepositions explaining the classification of prepositions in Mandarin and Harbin dialect, and finally classifies the Harbin dialect preposition system: Representation time, space, scope, object, reason, expression and comparison. The second part is “The synchronic description of Harbin dialect prepositions” which uses the structuralism theory and semantic grammar theory to describe the Harbin dialect prepositions from the three planes of syntax, semantics and pragmatics, and fully excavated the collocation ability of each preposition.Ability, and analyze its use conditions from the functional perspective, highlighting its semantic features in conjunction with example sentences. The third part is “The synchronic comparison of Harbin dialect prepositions”.From the perspective of linguistic typology, the classification comparison is conducted firstly between Harbin dialect prepositions and Putonghua prepositions and secondly between Harbin dialect prepositions and Mandarin dialect prepositions. The comparative study sums up the characteristics of Harbin dialect prepositions and provides a basis for the subsequent mapping of semantic maps. The fourth part is the “Semantic map analysis of dialect prepositions”.This part first summarizes the semantic map model theory, followed by the semantic map drawing, and uses the semantic map theory to draw the semantics of prepositions with prominent categories in Putonghua,Harbin dialects, andMandarin dialects. Moreover, the prepositions featured in the Harbin dialect are also mapped and analyzed in the semantic map.The last part is "concluding remarks",which summarizes the full text and points out the shortcomings of this article.
