From "this Kind Of Class" To "this One" - A Preliminary Study On The Performance Of Chinese Classical Dancers

Story and essence showed by characters in the performing arts. Actors need to make the characters, so do dancers. This article focuses on how the Chinese classical dancers make characters, which not only need to use Chinese classical dance’s movements, but also need to follow the emotional expression of Chinese people. In details, Chinese classical dancers seize both the common characters and unique personality. Furthermore, the author discusses the relationship between teaching and performing based on her own experience.
