A Study On The Aesthetics Of Bronzes In Bronze Ware Of Baoji Bronze Museum

It is necessary to study the bronze ware, which represents the Bronze Age, the dawn of Chinese culture, in order to learn about the Chinese culture. Chinese bronze art experienced thousands of years of practice and finally formed a unique bronze culture. As the heyday of the Bronze Age, Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty developed their own unique style with numerous bronze ware types, unusual design, peculiar engraved patterns, and mysterious atmosphere. The engraved pattern is the most important part of bronze part, as it is the most distinct reflection of social ideology and aesthetic characteristics of the time. This paper aims to study the engraved pattern of bronze wares in Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty of Baoji Bronze Ware Museum, combined with the previous knowledge of the engraved pattern, and further explore the influence of the engraved pattern on the study of bronze culture and aesthetic development of Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty.This paper will set forth the precious knowledge of the standing and role of the bronze ware firstly, to establish author’s own viewpoint. And then the paper will make a general classification of bronze wares in Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty, which are engaged in the study, and clarify the basis of classification. According to the classification oBaoji Bronze Ware Museum bronze wares, use and connotation for each type of the ornamentation makes interpretation, contact history analysis the development pattern decoration evolution. Next, Baoji Bronze Ware Museum of bronze decoration style classification, sculpture type analysis of different style contains, study these style mainly appear in what historical period, changes in the same style is what the connotation of the style, how to show through specific decoration symbol and aesthetic techniques, style of bronze wares, where to place and type use. Finally, through the above content further exploration of Baoji Bronze Ware Museum collection of bronze decoration of bronze culture of Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty and the significance for study of the Shang Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty aesthetics.
