A Study On Rui State Bronze Ware And Its Related Problems

Rui State played a very important role in the Shang and Zhou dynasties for a long time.The discovery of Zhou dynasties tombs in Liangdai Village and Liujiawa in Shanxi provided abundant materials for Rui’s research.On the basis of previous studies,this paper sorted out relevant literature and main harvest,dated the handed down Rui bronze ware,the unearthed bronze ware in the cemetery and the related bronze ware in Rui,and knew the age of the cemetery.On this basis,it carried out a systematic exploration on the geographic position and lineage of Rui.This paper mainly consists of the following four parts:In Chapter one,I introduces the geographical environment and excavation process of Liangdai Village and Liujiawa Cemetery,classifying the current research status of Rui State,pointing out the deficiencies and the possibility of further research and explains the research ideas and methods.In Chapter two,by systematically sorting out the bronze ware handed down from the West Zhou Dynasty,the bronze ware unearthed from the cemetery and the related bronze ware of the State of Rui,and combining with the literature,it is concluded that the early prince of the State of Rui had 6 generations.Limited by data,so there are still missing links in the early lineage of Rui.The state of Rui was located in the Qianhe River at the end of the Shang Dynasty and the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty and moved to Dali and Ruicheng in Shanxi at the latest during the reign of Kang Wang in the Western Zhou Dynasty.In Chapter three,I judge the age of the unearthed bronze ware and handed down bronze ware from Rui cemetery in the Spring and Autumn Period,analying the era of the graves in Rui State,I concluded that the Rui had six kingdoms at the Spring and Autumn Period relying on the literature.The state of Rui moved from Dali to Liangdai village at the late Western Zhou Dynasty and early Spring and Autumn Period,but Dali was still controlled by the state of Rui.In the early Spring and Autumn period,the state of Rui was briefly divided.In the late early Spring and Autumn period,the residents of the state of Rui and Liangdai moved to the area of Liujiawa,the state of Rui was reunited until the state of Rui was destroyed.In Chapter four,I summarize the content and conclusion of the article.
