This paper gives a brief summary of Cobar Dream by setting four questions, makes a comprehensive elaboration through the shooting elements of the documentary, and analyzes its significance and value by the way of contrast and example. From the perspective of the authenticity of documentary, this article makes some evaluation for the film and comes to the conclusion that the authenticity of the camera language plays an important role in the documentary. It also describes the obvious problems and the way of solving them in all directions, which is useful for the making of the documentary later.
