Rebuild The Plane Of The Image

The undoubted antiquity of books is an important carrier of cultural heritage and status symbol. Book Design is a plane visual architecture that consists of a integrated visual system and coherent logic system.Book Design, as one of my main job fascinates me with its visual and logic embed within, insists me to explore it further and further during my postgraduate study.In the information age of today, "Image" is playing a huge role. I tried to draw the iconography of Gombrich & W.J.T Michell and Ferdinand de Saussure & Roland Barthes into the image language system study, to redefine the visual language system of Image.In my final presentation of graduation design, I use traditional print media to build relationship of the media and the image, develop and expand the "print media" dimension, giving the image a new viewing experience.
