An Analysis Of The Image Related To Horse In Shan Hai Jing

This paper conducts theme research on contents concerning "the images of horse" in The Classic of Mountains and Rivers, and preliminarily discusses the approaches of using horse as the design and creation element. Mainly starting from horse in The Classic of Mountains and Rivers, animal images "similar like horse", god image "similar like horse", other images with partial features of horse, and names related to horse, etc., this paper classifies the content related to "image of horse" in the text of The Classic of Mountains and Rivers and picture information of relevant ancient books and records, and briefly analyzes appearance rule, symbol characteristics and metaphor of animal images related to horse in The Classic of Mountains and Rivers.
