This article first stated the relation between “seeing ” and “knowing” from a painter’s view and then the importance of finding the balance.I realized there’s a big impact from traditional painting when I tried to understand how to be balanced.Based on the Gombrich’s schema-corrected theory to study the law of painting style to discuss how to see, to create,to raise a question, to solve problems, I realize the importance of traditional scheme. Discussing the traditional concept of schemata and intellectual framework,painter reshaped the tradition and absorb new theory to be self-transcendence, to create the possibility of new language performance.At last,the writer is talking about his creation ideas when he is doing painting which is the above theory.
