The Application Of Music Elements In Xingguo Folk Songs In Contemporary Vocal Music Works

Among all the folk songs in our country, the ballad of Xingguo is an influential and characteristic one. A representative one of traditional southern folk songs as it is, it becomes a special branch of Chinese art nowadays.This article mainly studied from three parts:First, summarizing the origin and development of Xingguo folk song.Second, discussing the artistic features of Xingguo folk song and finishing on the analysis of the universal law among the structure of most Xingguo folk song, Its lyrics, melody and mode.Finally, summarizing the present status of traditional xingguo folk song, and comparing traditional Xingguo folk song andits tones with the contemporary vocal music works. From a personal perspective, expounding the limitations of traditional Xingguo folk song and the advantages of the contemporary ones. In contemporary vocal music works, for example, part of the text has carried on the analysis to the song, and combined with their own singing experience, stating how to sing such a song.
