A Study On The Penetration Of Ideological And Political Education In English Teaching

College English major aims to train specialists with a solid foundation in English language and geographical knowledge reservation of English-speaking countries, they were able to engage in translation, research, teaching and management in the field of foreign affairs, such as economy, trade, culture, journalism, publishing, education and scientific research. This requires English majors training students in English language skills, cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to fuse the ways of thinking between Eastern and Western cultures. So, how to enable students to learn English at the same time withstand the impact of Western thought is important. This paper analyzes the importance of English teaching in ideological and political education infiltration from sources and feasibility percolation theory, the most important is to give a solution and strategies of the problem.This paper examines the sources and the feasibility of percolation theory and analyzes the reason of lacking awareness, space, intensity and mode for it. And those problems are generated in the process of teaching English, for example, they did not pay attention to the ideological and political education, ideological and political consciousness of teachers is low, teaching philosophy and methods are restricted. The writer makes recommendations to improve English courses in ideological and political education penetration. For example, to improve English teaching in ideological and political status, strengthen ideological and political education of professional teachers of English literacy and build the required curriculum.
