A Study On The Art Of Rhyme In Jian'an Poetry

This dissertation studies the phonology art of Jian’an poetry.lt can be divided into five parts.In the introduction part,the methods and values of the study and the main content of the dissertation is explained,simultaneously,the related research is summarized.Chapter one explains the origin of this dissertation,and defines the category of Jian’an poetry which will be discussed in it.From chapter two to the last chapter show the key ideas of this dissertation.Chapter two discusses the phonology of the Jian’an poetry,including the rime words,the rhyme attribution,and the rime pattern,its emphasis on overall.We find that the phonological feature of Caocao’poetry has an unique personality,they seemed not pay much attention to repeated rime words, and the rime pattern is heterogeneous and casual,almost on the contrary,the poetry of Caopi,Caozhi and Jian’anqizi uses mature and orderliness rime pattern,and repeated rime words are greatly reduced.However,the phonology of Jian’an poetry has some commom characteristics,the yang-sheng rime words are more than the yin-sheng rime words,Caocao and Caopi prefer the Yang attribution,Caozhi likes the Han attribution.Every poets of Jian’an period has his own personality in the use of rime.Compared to chapter two,the third chapter turns its attention to the details of the rhyme of Jian’an’s poetry,it classifies Jian’an’s poetry with different standards,such as poems with the same name,poems used to match music and so forth.we have pay special attention to stylistic studies,such like the language features,words,the structure of the poems,in order to find out the power of them,and make out the combined power of them with rime.In addition,this chapter also particularly concerned the masterpieces in Jian’an poriod,in the phonological perspective,combined with the content and the emotional tone of the poems,we try to discover some of the reasons of the everlasting beauty of those masterpieces.In the fourth chapter of the study,the source and flow of phonological features of Jian’an poetry become the focus of investigation.By compared with poems of Han Dynasty,Chu ci,The Book of Songs,we can see the use of rime in Caocao’poems is similar to the traditional way,it is especially influenced by the poems used to match music of Han Dynasty.By tracking the influences of the Jian’an phonological features to Jin Dynasty,Song,Qi,Liang an([ Chen Dynasty,we find that the use of rime in Caopi,Caozhi and Qizi,especially Caozhi’poems have a significant impact on the future generations.Besides,in the text,we also contact Jian’an articles,especially for the rhyme Fu,and discover the exchanges between poetry and rhyme Fu at that time.There are two articles in the end,they discussed the relationship between Jian’an phonological features and literature resources,chinese tone of Jian’an poetry and the meaning& feeling expression,Caocao’s poetry and the music it had been used in.The beauty of sound in poetry is comprehensive and integrated,but this dissertation only temporarily pay attentions to "rhyme" to explore the phonology art of Jian’an poetry.Of course,in poetry,sounds(phonology) usually play an auxiliary function in expressing the meanings,they do not like the words. However,the sound(phonology) can also help the poetry to express their unique style,emotion throbbing,therefore,they can help to support the audio-visual art of poetry.Forasmuch,to research the sounds(phonology) of the poetry is very important,not to mention,when we do not look at the literal words of pomes,simply listening to the sound of loudly reading to the pomes,the sound itself can move us in a different way.
