As one of the pioneer of Chinese Modern Art, Yuliang Pan plays as a very important role in China Art hertory, regarding to both artistic creation and artistic concepts innovation. Currently, ongoing research about Yuliang Pan and her artistic works is just focusing on several items at an extensive-culture level, such as "feminine consciousness", "body painting", "Chinese/Western Combination"; meanwhile, there is not too much research about her certain artistic works or the works within a certain period. Here, based on appreciation of hundreds of her works, especially oil paints, collected and exhibited by Anhui Museum, the author tries to highlight the commons in Yuliang Pan’s oil paints during her medium period, via exploring the form, the theme, the content, the style, and the creation background of<Song of Spring> through images and literatures researching and comparing.For Chapter 1, the author starts with exploring of the theme, the characters and the images in the work<Song of Spring>, and further tracking back to painting pattern, and then going deep into the details of some form factors, like line, color, shape, and composition of the images, trying to understand the work via pure viewing; for Chapter 2, via comparing<Song of Spring> and Yuliang Pan’s other works during the same period regarding to creation background, contents and style, the author tries to understand the creation purpose, the meaning for both the reality and Art, and the aesthetical spirit and concept of the painter.The author draws the conclusions as follows:a series of oil paints created by Yuliang Pan during her medium period, exemplified by<Song of Spring>, reflect the painter’s final artistic goal "Chinese/Western Combination" through unifying patterns of traditional Western painting, formats of Western Modern Art, and multiple performing styles and skills after Impressionism into Chinese traditional humanity spirit and aesthetical value orientation.
