Tribute system is very unique under the Feudal society---the country’s controlled by one royal family. The kingdom or the state take their local productions which manufactured by farmers or craftsmen as tributes to submit to the emperor, these tributes will be the royals’ commodities or luxuries. The tribute system has been draw up long ago. It originated from the Xia dynasty, then lasted through the Zhou, the Qin, the Han, the Jin, the Northern and southern dynasties smoothly, became perfect in the Tang dynasty. The recordation about tribute system was the most detailed during the reign of Xuanzong in ancient historical books and records. The Hedong circuit’s tribute system in this paper is a portion of the Tang dynasty’s whole tribute system. The Hedong circuit’s tributes are coming from different departments that root in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry or side line of business. In this paper, the writer concentrates on the Hedong circuit’s tributes to carry out his research. The Anshi rebellions as the watershed of Tang dynasty’s history which impact most aspect of national administration in the next half of the dynasty. The institutional norm and administrative execution about tribute system both be destroyed. The emperor levies more and more tributes and the bureaucrats pay more tributes unconventionally so tribute system had been abandoned finally. The royal court exchanged their focus to the revenue resulting from salt mine and mineral reserves. The tribute system vanished without a sound.
