The oil industry is the pillar industry of the national economy, it plays an important role in the rapid and healthy development of the national economy. However, with the economic globalization, the competition of international energy market is creasingly fierce, domestic oil companies face increasing pressure. As grass-roots employees is the foundation of a enterprise, so based on the Petroleum enterprise grass-roots employeeses as the research object, investigate and analysis about the present situation of their psychological capital, in order to improve the existing human resources management level in petroleum enterprises from the psychological capital level, so as to improve performance and core competence in petroleum enterprises.Combining with the psychological capital of related literature at home and abroad, this study using a variety of empirical research methods, analysis the features of petroleum enterprise grass-roots employees’ psychological capital, build and verify the six dimensions of petroleum enterprise grass-roots employees’ psychological capital are:toughness、 optimism、hope、confidence、cooperation and gratitude. According to this, select and establish the specific content of the questionnaire through the preliminary investigation and analysis, the specific content inclouds26items, then compile the petroleum enterprise grass-roots employees psychological capital questionnaire, according to the inspection, the questionnaire has good reliability and validity. The results of the survey show that the overall psychological capital level of petroleum enterprise grass-roots employees is relatively positive, especially on the psychological capital dimensions of gratitude, toughness and cooperation; use methods of statistical to analyze the differences of psychological capital in the demographic variables, it has significant differences on two demographic variables:marital status and type of work, but it has no significant differences on gender, age, education level and work life; discuss the relationship between petroleum enterprise grass-roots employees’ psychological capital and coping styles、job involvement, put forward that there are positive correlations between psychological capital and coping styles、job involvement, and it has a certain influence on job involvement. At last, according to the survey and analysis of the petroleum enterprise grass-roots employees’ psychological capital, the following recommendations are put forward for petroleum enterprise human resources management:recruit the grass-roots employeeses with higher level psychological capital、post optimization configuration from the level of psychological capital、train the positive psychological elements of grass-roots employees、 improve the first-line managers’ psychological capital management ability.
