A Study On The Stylistic Design Of Film Sound Design

As we know, the appearance of sound films changed the form and style of silentfilms, which used to be regarded as pure visual arts. Sound films nowadays havebecome real audio and visual arts. Instead of being the assistance of pictures, soundnow exists as a very important factor in film creation. It makes the details of a filmmore colorful. The construction of the “style” of a film depends on such specificobjective factors as time features, regional style, national culture and personalexperience of the director etc. In worldwide language context, each reform of soundpictures is the result of the development of science and technology. With the use anddevelopment of network technique and multichannel stereo technique, many excellentinternational films come into being, which symbolize that sound style of films hasbecome increasingly diversified. This essay aims at exploring the aestheticrepresentation in film sound about the three factors----language, audio and music bystudying the presentation of the stylization of film sound. I’d like to have a research ofthe relationship among sound design,space and rhythm from the perspective ofontology, hoping that I can get some idea about the formation and influence of sounddesign towards stylization. I will stress the core argument that sound design does playa very important part in the formation of film style by giving some real examples.
