A Study On The Current Situation Of Hani Language In Three Rural Areas In

Sanmeng country is belong to Lvchun county of Yunnan province.It is located in the sino-vietnamese border.And It is the home of the hani people.In 2011,professor Dai have led a team investigated the language of Daxing town, Pinghe country in Lvchun.The Sanmeng country is located in the the Daxing town between Pinghe country.The pronunciation in Sanmeng country is similar to Lvchun’s which is the standard pronunciation. So it is an ideal place to do field word.We chose two villages as our research sites:Hade village and Tongzhu village.Hade village as the government resident its economic is better than other villages.And the population is also the most.Tongzhu village is 14kilometers far away from Hade village.It can be said to be hidden in the mountains.It’s economic condition is not as good as Hade village.By analysis of cultural situation of Hade village Hade group and Tongzhu village Balong group to know the villagers how well do they proficiency in their mother tongue and standard Chinese language.The first two part of thesis establish data chart from different social variables:age、gender、degree of culture.So we can see the differences in these data.Based on these differences to analysis what can be the factors that influence the local language.And to predict the development tendency of local language.The fourth chapter analysis the results of four hundred - word test.The results show that 53.85% of the people’s vocabulary level is "excellent"; 38.46% of the people’s vocabulary level for "good"; 7.69% of the text people’s vocabulary level is "bad".Considering the background of text people,we can find that the teenagers in a better economic region,their mother tongue language is not good as the teenagers live in the mountain.And in the better economic the teenagers’vocabulary is decreasing in the number.To make further analysis,the thesis focuses on the vocabulary class C and class D’s distribution in data.The distribution of class C and D words help us grasp the Hani people, especially the youth group how proficiency can they use basic vocabulary of mother tongue.The last part is the conclusion of the all thesis.First is describing the general situation of two villages’language situation as a whole.The two villages is a microcosm of the whole Sanmeng country.The data can be used to show the country’s general language situation.The second is the language types are classified such as the monolingual、bilingual and so on.And then analyzed the language characteristics of Sanmeng country,such as the nationwide use of mother tongue language、the differences in each ages and so on.Finally,make a predict of how will the Hani language develop in the future.Bilingual people will gradually increase, including their number and live scale.This is the situation in the development of times.It follows the history trend, and is also the important factor of China’s peaceful development, and national unity.
