A Survey Of The Status Of Hani Language Use In Dashuigou Township, Luchun County, Yunnan Province

Hani People is one of the ethnic minorities in southwestern China,ranked 15th largest nation in China,mainly distributed in Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture,Yunnan province,and also in Xishuangbanna dai autonomous prefecture,Pu er,Yuanjiang,Mojiang,Jiangcheng area.The population of Hani People is about 1.63 million(2010).Hani People is a cross-border ethnic groups,in Thailand,Vietnam,Laos,Myanmar and other countries.Hani language belongs to the sino-tibetan Burma Burma dialect language Yi language.Hani language usage field investigation,has great significance to protect the local language,culture,education,and auxiliary national language policy formulation,and many other problems.In this paper,the analysis of the language object is Hani language usage situation of Dashuigou Township in Yunnan province.Dashuigou town is located in the west of Lvchun,is apart from the Lvchun of 73 kilometers from the county seat.With a total area of 236 square kilometers.Population density is 82 people per square kilometer.Niukong town and Qimaba town are to its east,Daheishan Township is connected to the southwest,northwest and border is Mojiang county.For big ditch village Hani language use situation has not yet been investigated.In this paper,Dashuigou village of Hani language use present situation has carried on the investigation and study,analysis of the mother tongue use present situation,dynamic,as well as the combination of Chinese situation,and points out existing problems.Hope to provide a new data and materials for Hani language use present study.The fieldwork select two village from Dashuigou town,one is LongBie village which is close to Dashuigou town government,also traffic is convenient,the other one is Daguoma village which is far from Dashuigou government,also traffic is not convenient.Through household surveys,Hani language four hundred tests and interviews,supplemented by method of participatory observation,on the basis of the statistical analysis of data and materials,comparing the two villages of Hani language usage,about the present situation of big ditch village Hani language use and language attitude has carried on the evaluation and analysis.This article is divided into six parts and five chapters:The first chapter mainly explains the meaning of Hani language study,the research dynamic,the methods of this field survey and illustrates the related situation of the site.The second chapter introduces the Longbie village in Dashuigou town,analyses the current language situation of the Hani People in the village,also other People in this village.The third chapter introduces the Daguoma village in Dashuigou town,analyses the current language situation of the Hani People in the village,also other People in this village.The fourth chapter on the basis of the previous two chapters,analyses the differences in the present situation of language use and its causes between the two villages.The fifth chapter from native language attitude,attitude towards Chinese and perceptions of the Hani language-Chinese bilingual,expectations of the next generation of language proficiency,perceptions of other members of the society language use and so on five aspects analyzes Dashuigou village language attitude.Epilogue part made a conclusion based on the above.
