New Wave Of Information

Unlike the Scientific Visualization,Information Visualization is made the abstract structured and unstructured data into a visual presentation,in order to find patterns in data.Along with the popularization of the network,people are ill prepared to handle the vast quantities of information and data,so we call the current era “Information Explosion Era” or “Big Data Era”.Information Visualization,which help people to better understand information and data,is more popular with people.In the meantime,more and more artists inspired by Information Visualization,and choose data sets as the materials for art creation.Different from traditional media, the Internet media profoundly affected Information Visualization itself,and brought Information Visualization the dual changes of ideas and aesthetics which let it made further development in aesthetics.This paper will commence from the specificity of network context,to carry out an analysis on unique aesthetic values of Information Visualization,and to further explore expansion of Information Visualization in the context of network.
