The Historical Plays Of Three Kingdoms And The Popularization Of Historiography

The historical TV dramas about the History of Three Kingdoms have developed for nearly 40 years. The development of these works showing a trend:in the end of twentieth Century, the historical TV dramas "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" was faithful to the original novel, but at the beginning of twenty-first Century historic TV dramas showed a breach, not only from innovating the content, but also changing the traditional concepts from the thought. Along with the popularization of historiography, the public were exposed to the constantly changing history which about the Three Countries. To clearly show the influence of the historical popularization on the development of historical TV dramas, each chapter contains two development paths, the popularization of history and historic TV dramas. This process also reflected on the development of historical television dramas. Historical TV dramas about the History of Three Kingdoms were trying to breach the theme of the novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and the traditional historiography thoughts at the same time to show a different kind of the history of Three Kingdoms. Except elements of literature and art, these Historical TV dramas add some historical elements. Different from the previous ideas of the history of Three Kingdoms, these works contain many different ideas.The third chapter tells about the popularization of history of the early 21st century, there are more forms of popularization of the history of Three Kingdoms. While, public has gradually become the main body to create and disseminate historical knowledge and ideas. Facing the new stage of popularization of history, the term of director and writer should be shown the history of Three Kingdoms about new content, forms and themes. And always they must adhere to the attitude of "respect for history". In the process of creation and dissemination of TV historical dramas, historians, History workers, media professionals, relevant government departments and the public should assume corresponding responsibility. They should find a way together for the further development of TV historical dramas which have the responsibility of popularization of the history of Three Kingdoms.
