Pen and ink as the main artform of Chinese painting, has a pivotal position in the art performance. Freehand brushworkfigure painting has led to the development of pen and ink, ink is different in different period.With the development of the history of freehand brushwork figure painting ink fromaffirmation to negation to affirmation again experienced a bumpy journey, this makes the inkform combines many other arts, which becomes rich and colorful.
