Study On The Blue - And - White Porcelain Of The Water - Saving

Nearly half a century, in order to reveal original appearance of Jianshui Kiln, a great number of domestic experts and scholars have various researches on blue and white porcelain in Jianshui Kiln through great efforts, which further improved people’s understanding of Jianshui Kiln. However, due to the incomplete scientific discovery, distribution of kiln site, production scale, shape classification, decorative art, and spread evolution still remained a lot of deficiencies and gave rise to controversy. Through the researches in this paper, the original researches have been enriched, supplemented, and revised in hope of attracting people’s attention and importance to Jianshui blue and white porcelain and further enhancing people’s understanding of Jianshui blue and white porcelain. As a consequence, it will promote the position of Jianshui blue and white porcelain, and make blue and white porcelain drive the development of local handicraft actively.The research object of this paper is blue and white porcelain in Jianshui Kiln of Yunnan Province, and the whole paper is separated into five chapters. The current reports about archaeological excavation and the relevant academic papers are presented in the first part, which explains the distribution of Jianshui blue and white porcelain kiln site in Yunnan Province in the Ming Dynasty and the distribution of unearthed tombs in detail. In the second part, the actual materials are collected to refer to the analysis of predecessor, and the discovered blue and white porcelain in Jianshui Kiln are contracted to analyze typology. With regard to the third part, blue and white porcelain in Jianshui Kiln are classified by ornamentation according to animal ornamentation, plant ornamentation, figure ornamentation, and other ornamentation. Through the modern technological methods, the chemical component of soil and tile of porcelain in Jianshui Kiln is analyzed by the related materials in the fourth part, which concludes the technological characteristics of blue and white porcelain kiln site in Jianshui Kiln of Yunnan Province. Based on this, the rise and fall, and reasons of Jianshui blue and white porcelain are discussed in the fifth part.
