The Fa Zang Temple monument in Zhao Zhou is in Dali Feng Yi Bei TangTian Fa Zang Temple now.This monument was carved in Ming Yongle nineteen years (AD1412).The monument is in the North corridor In front of temple inscriptions.Monument high124cm,48cm wide,6cm thick,and the head is round.there is Inscription named"Fa Zang Temple Inscriptioor" on it.The Inscription has1463words which Include title line carved by Regular script and44lines of the body part.The monument describes that the reason of the reconstruction method of Fa Zang Temple.Buddha sculpture in this temple,the compilation of Buddhist scriptures.and a story about Acarya monk named Dong Xian prayed for emperor Yong Le in the Forbidden City in Ming dynasty.Also there is Inscription about Dong Qin et al contributed their field to Fa Zang Temple in Ming WanLi era in the head of monument.This monument have extremely rich historical data value.Has been one of the important historical data of previous studies.The main research focus on five aspects:first one is conduct research in field of the science of cultural relics for the monument.The second is discusses the development of Acarya Esoteric Buddhism by Comprehensive study of this Inscription and Archaeological data in Ming dynasty YunNan province.The third one is discusses the relationship between Acarya Esoteric Buddhism and Exotoric Buddhism by study of this Inscription.The fourth is discussion the relationship between Acarya Esoteric Buddhism and The Ming Dynasty politics and the Acarya Esoteric Buddhism Temple’s Land economy.Mainly discusses it’s political role and political influence in Ming dynasty.The fifth is the research of the influence of Tibetan Buddhism on Acarya Esoteric Buddhism in the Ming dynasty.
