With multi-value and profound influence, Confucian culture has taken a leading role in traditional Chinese culture systems for a long time. Group standard thought of Confucian culture, has a close relationship with the Chinese Family culture, for it provides a theoretical basis for the Family culture. With the development of history, Family culture has become an important component of traditional Chinese culture. It models people’s behavior in terms of ethical and emotional value, and gradually becomes a kind of collective unconscious of the Chinese people. The multi-ethnic culture is a branch of traditional Chinese culture system, which absorbs the essence of the traditional Chinese culture. Both political ideology and social areas of human life are affected by traditional Chinese culture. In the process of culture integration by Han and multi-ethnic group, Family culture influences the foundation of multi-ethnic culture, meanwhile, the intersection of multi-ethnic culture has enriched the content of Family culture.This thesis can be divided into five parts. The first part describes the origin and significance of the research, summarizes the most current researches to highlight the distinguishing features of this thesis, the same time, illustrates the research’s ideas and methods, and defines some keywords. The second part is the general argument of the thesis. In this part, the author explores the relationship between the multi-ethnic culture and Family culture, including the relationship between the traditional Chinese culture of "home country isomorphic" concept and the formation of the Chinese Family culture, and the function of the multi-ethnic culture in new areas offered by multi-ethnic culture to current Family culture. The third, fourth and fifth parts together constitute the sub-arguments of papers. The funeral of Muslim by Hui, Dust by Tibetan, and fomer site by Han, these three works are used as an entry point to explore the uniqueness of family fiction of each nation in terms of themes, art forms and cultural values, in order to find a meeting point between multi-ethnic literature and family literature.
