Cartoon image as a form of art, has now become increasingly occupy an important place in the art scene, in the environment of our life are everywhere in the cartoon image of the scene. The cartoon image is not only an art symbol, the language of art, but also is closely linked with our life. The author chooses the cartoon image as the carrier of national culture, combined with the cartoon image of the current development trend, try on the relationship between the cartoon characters and national culture of the two analysis, combined the present Japan, US and so on some typical cartoon image of case analysis, to research the cartoon image as a new form of cultural expression have why action and influence, advantage to spread national culture, and the cartoon image as the mode of transmission of national culture in the new development trend in the future. Finally, through the analysis and hope the cartoon image as a new artistic breakthrough, the national culture essence to the world output of China, showing China’s soft power, to let the world know more about China’s image. In this paper, combined with the animation, literature, industrial culture, communication arts and other related theories on the cartoon image of national culture as a carrier to make comprehensive analysis and research, including the current and future development trend, so in order to promote further development of Chinese culture, reveal the soft power of Chinese culture to the world, establish a good international image, the top the Chinese culture to the world cultural trends.
