The Chinese painting is derived from the WEIJIN SOUTHERN and NORTHERN Dynasties, and it reaches its peak at TANG and SONG Dynasties, and it’s also divided into the there parts--Character、Bird、landscape at that moment, from its original single Character. The landscape painting is independent from SUI and TANG dynasties, and it gradually replaces the Character painting being the most biggest part at SONG dynasty, and changes the situation which the character is much more important than landscape; But the relationship between the Character and landscape are not over, on the contrary, there is another harmonious relationship be developed because of the sharply rising of the landscape painting--- the landscape decorates the character.The landscape painting highly praises the the union of life and culture, In these painting which expresses the beauty of our landscape, how sad if there is no one in it? The maturity of the landscape painting affects the relationship which the character decorates the landscape, the artists represented by FanKuan, expresses the relationship between the character and the landscape much vividly which use the strong color, and at the same time, the development of the literati painting promotes the relationship which the character decorates the landscape, WenHuiMing of WU School can finally combine the enjoyable landscape painting and the character which decorates the landscape painting perfectly. This skill finally be his own style., and form a complete system. So the character which decorates the landscape painting becomes the indispensable part in the Chinese landscape painting, only when you get it, can express the union of nature and man much better, can highlight the mood which the artists want to create much more perfectly.The style of 20c still prefer tradition, while since the establishment of China, all new kinds of culture settle in, the combination of Chinese and Western become the new feature of that time, the development of economic culture make the artists do not pursue the tradition any more, but to express the true feeling at the core, and let the the character which decorates the landscape, which is powerful theoretical,be the model. Although the feudal society has gone, but there are still some abundant inheritance of culture, and many artists add their own style into the traditional skills, such as HuangBinHong、LiKeRan、ShiLu and so on., they are affected by XuBeiHong, it is fashionable that add the sketch into their painting, and pay more attention to the expression of line. From the creative practice and theory, you can see that there is a new explanation of the landscape painting, which shows the whole face of theoretical landscape painting, the character which decorates the landscape which combine of Chinese and Western also promote the progress of temporary landscape. So called "everything depends on its heart", respect the nature base on its environment, the permanent rule of the skills of the character which decorates the landscape is to create the way which adapts to the time.This article is divided into three parts to describe the characteristics of contemporary "figure in landscape painting" techniques and explain how to apply it. It comprehensively analyzes the evolution process of "figure in landscape painting" techniques and the characteristics of changes in each phase. Summarizing the core law of "figure in landscape painting" by a contrast between the traditional "figure in landscape painting" techniques and contemporary "physical figure in landscape painting" techniques. The first chapter:to make clear what the role of the traditional "figure in landscape painting" is played in the landscape painting through the understanding of the art of traditional"figure in landscape painting". The second chapter:from the perspective of contemporary figure in landscape painting techniques, to analyze the main factors which caused the changes of "figure in landscape painting". Moreover, to verify the tendency of changes in contemporary"figure in landscape painting" techniques by analyzing some examples. The third chapter:to practice on the basis of deep understanding of the "figure in landscape painting". Furthermore, to imitate and then create of the traditional and contemporary "figure in landscape painting" and finally to sum up the results and experience of this research.
