In modern Chinese language, adjectives and nouns are two quite complicated kinds of words, and their collocation is more complex. In communication, collocation of adjectives and nouns is widely applied, however, for international students, which is the key part, as well as a difficult part in learning Chinese. So students easily make biased errors in application. Study on collocation of adjectives and nouns itself is early and entirety carried out. But the study on TCSL (teaching Chinese as a second language) has a relatively short history, which is meaningful and valuable. The academic thesis aims at exploring collocation of disyllable qualitative adjectives and nouns in international students’corpus in order to provide effective teaching suggestions for TCSL.Firstly, the academic thesis divides the disyllable qualitative adjectives of level A and level B in the National Syllabus of Graded Words and Characters for Chinese Proficiency into subject category, affair category, objective category, space-time category, valuation category, then makes small classifications accordingly. At last retrieve adjectives in HSK dynamic composition corpus and get collocational nouns, then make classifications.Secondly, the academic thesis selects adjectives of attitude and emotion in subjective category adjectives of intension and extent in affair category, adjectives of temperature and appearance in objective category, adjectives of length of time and environment in space-time category, and then acquires correct collocational nouns of eight small classifications in HSK dynamic composition corpus, in the end make a conclusion of varied collocation frequency, ability and tendency of disyllable qualitative adjectives and nouns in every small category.Afterwards the academic thesis analyzes correct application situations, avoidance phenomenons, biased errors in application of disyllable qualitative adjectives and nouns among international students,as well as the reason of these situations according to the collocation biased errors of corpus between lever A and B disyllable qualitative adjectives and nouns in "HSK dynamic corpus" and the study above.Finally the academic thesis derives inspiration and provide relevant teaching suggestions from the three situations of applying disyllable qualitative adjectives and nouns collocation in TCSL.
