"Disyllable Adjectives+De"’s Function、Nature And Teaching Research Based On The "Simple Principle"

There’s a lot of debate about the nature and function of the "disyllable adjective+ de". the issue has an important value on Chinese international education. In this paper,based on the "simple principle", we try to study the nature and the function of the "disyllable Adjective+de", and put forward suggestions for teaching and textbook compilation. Main contents are as follows:First, extracting data from the Chinese adjectives’ usage dictionary and modern Chinese Corpus, we get the conclusion that the grammar functions of the "disyllable adjective+de" is as attribute and adverbial. including two cases:only can use as attribute, not only can use as attribute but also adverbial. through the investigation of novels and The graded, we find that the "disyllable adjectives+de"’s most important function is not only can use as attribute but also adverbial.Second, study the "disyllable adjectives+de"’s part of speech. according to grammatical function, if the "disyllable adjectives+de" only can act as attribute, it’s nature is distinguished words. if the "disyllable adjectives+de" not only can act as attribute but also adverbial, based on the "simple principle", it’s nature is modifiers. According to Guorui’s perspective," de" is an adjectival marker.At last, Through collecting the errors made by foreign students from the HSK Composition Corpus, we find that the main error types is misusage of "de" which is used as adverbial and "de" which is used as attribute. Futher, conducted through Chi-square test, find out that the foreign students tend to misuse "de" which is used as adverbial, this attests that "de"’s integration is necessary and feasible. Through surveying foreign language teaching textbooks, we find that the arrangement of "disyllable adjectives+de" is insufficient. For these problems, analyze some relevant advise of teaching methods and textbook compilation.
