Yuan drama is the symbol of the Yuan Dynasty literature style, is the art for ordinary people to write the heart, the unique artistic charm in the long river of Chinese opera, left a sizable drama text for the world of Chinese opera. The study of Yuan drama monographs and paper is immense. Selection of angle is an important breakthrough of drama, this article from the Angle of the knight-errant, with Wang Ji si chief editor of "The Yuan drama" as the main version, analyzes the knight-errant’s image appeared in the drama, aims to explore knight-errant’s image in the Yuan drama and contains the chivalrous spirit in Chinese culture.The first chapter analyses the knight-errant’s image before Yuan dynasty in literary works and defines knight-errant’s image in the drama.
