With globalization, information technology, especially in recent years with the construction of China’s high-speed rail and aircraft-based rapid transit infrastructure, Lingnan cultural city with the outside world has been rapid development, outside of Lingnan culture also play a more relevant urban development big impact, how to mention the Lingnan region competitiveness, to keep a strong competitive edge in foreign culture and foreign competition, by means of its own traditional culture and geographical features of the city to create their own brand image, has become the Lingnan region pressing problems of urban development. This topic Lingnan city building brand image system for the study, the theoretical basis of CIS in the original model, the innovative use to expand its brand recognition in the city, from four aspects of visual, auditory, olfactory and landscape round construction of urban brand image recognition system, and Lingnan city - Wuzhou city brand image as an example system research and design. Its main contents are as follows:First, the paper through the relevant domestic and international research status of urban brand image analysis system to grasp the status of the city brand image system research at present, and urban brand image system research and design theories and methods used to determine the research objectives and methods described herein.Second, the brand image of the city through the system were studied and analyzed the theory, for subsequent application to the theory of urban CIS brand image system research and design to provide the foundation.Third, the image of the city Lingnan cognitive system, a detailed analysis of the current status of urban distribution Lingnan region and urban cultural development, as well as parts of the city Lingnan brand and features.Fourth, for instance this study - the history and current development of the city of Wuzhou City, the brand image of a detailed analysis and research. Fifth, on the basis of a detailed analysis of the status quo of urban brand building and understanding of the Wuzhou City, Wuzhou City completed a brand image system design, based on the theory CIS detailed design was carried out from four aspects of visual, auditory, olfactory and landscape build a comprehensive system of Wuzhou city brand.Finally, the design of Wuzhou City Brand made a brief analysis of system applications to further enhance the feasibility of the practical application of this design Wuzhou City brand system.
