As we all know that China is a multi-ethnic country. Every ethnic has its own special historical background and cultural characteristics. As a unique form of art and culture, chinese folk dance has a long history and valuable meaning. It reflects every ethnic’s history, traditional culture, and religious belief. Because of different natural environemnt and geographical features, the style characteristics and culture in each ethnic dance represented differently. In the performance of their own ehnic characteristics, the artistic form of expression used in the ethnic dance is not same. Therefore, when we want to understand and master the form, posture and movement behind every ethnic dance, we should take a deep dig of local culture and the development of religious faith.
