In china of the 20th century, there was a revolutionary painter- LinFengMian, who contributed to the development of China’s modern art. He can not only be based on the Chinese traditional culture and art but also absorb advanced Western artistic thought. For the arts, he has made unremitting efforts and finally form its own characteristic style of painting and drawing of East West fusion, and his work has a bold and graceful style he in the picture on the ink control line use, screen layout, and other highly creative painting language, affecting the entire Chinese art trends and ideas. Matisse is one of numerous acclaimed get excellent character, his paintings explore a revolutionary blend of outstanding art forms and combine their artistic ideas, formed in fusion, bright colors, simple forms and decorative style of painting, full of a sense of modern art, can bring calm and optimistic feelings. LinFengMian and Matisse, respectively, as the East and West on behalf of artists, their art unremitting exploration, in the long history of art in unique, influenced the development of later art.LinFengMian and Matisse were a representative of the 20th century, although their country is different, but in the complex world of cultural backgrounds, they have established their own artistic pursuit of the same goal, namely, the idea of painting of East West fusion. This idea supported their hard working in the arts the way, and they are in line with the spirit of art endless experiments. It is this spirit that today we can enjoy these paintings. Their experiments let us know that the fusion of painting language has broad space for development, so we will continue to root out the value inside.
