| This thesis firstly introduces Bergson’s time theory, with relation to memory theory, epistemology and existence theory, and then focuses on the connectivity of duration philosophy. From this perspective, such other themes as free will, life impulsion and living world are raised. The philosophical path from time to duration basically covers Bergson’s thoughts of life philosophy. The thesis especially compares such thoughts with modern philosophy, which shall complement the study on Bergson’s philosophical thoughts. Meanwhile, the thoughts characteristic and defects are discussed conclusively. In this way, the ideological image of Bergson’s life philosophy is formed, and his philosophical thoughts are hereby recognized from a new perspective. |
