A Narrative Study Of Miao 's Folk Animals

In human society, the relationship between animals and miao people are very close,which can be known from the initial various kinds of animals in the totem worship, also the merchant in the modern society, such as the protagonists are animals all kinds of ritual activities, the legends and folk festival which according to the animal,the pictures of all kinds of animals also can be seen from the clothing,embroidery and wax, and so on.However,the narration of the story which base on the animals is the concentrated reflection of its close relationship, which can reflect the miao people’s unique feelings to animals. This article from the classification of the miao animal story, narrative structure, theme also image study and narrative to analysis,using theme, aesthetics and other related theories to read, also combined with image analysis, motif, methods of prototype for further reading. This paper combined with four parts, about more than thirty thousand words.The first part is mainly to study the classify of animal stories, which to support the analysis of the narrative characteristics. The classification method is based onthe text narrative content,which to link other chapters closely, at the same time different from the previous animal type classification method.In the second part, the narrative structure, draw lessons from the theory research results of domestic and foreign folk story narrative, which generally divided into simple and complex structures, each part’s writing is on the basis of the different combination of motif and its corresponding change.The third part is mainly about the reading of narrative subject, in the first quarter,which combined with the origin of miao and migratory history background to explore the miao people’s hero worship, also the performance of this kind of psychology in the animal story; the following quarter from the miao social moral values and philosophy thoughts of gratitude to analyze the story.In the fourth part,the the first section clarified the animals’ image based on the emotional preference, and explore the reasons of classification; Second sectioninterpreted the animal images which established in the stories, and to explore its implication behind cultural matters and meaning; The third section, using aesthetic methods to appreciate the animals’ image in the stories, analyzing its aesthetic meaning and miao people’s psychological orientation. The summary of the paper,which also explore the role of animal story in miao nationality traditional culture.
