Research On The Linkage Structure Of Artemisia Miao Language

Serial Verbs Construction is a syntactic structure where exists widely in East Asia,Southeast Asia,West Africa,the Americas,Oceania and the Pacific.The Serial Verbs Construction's definition characteristics,classification and Grammaticalization have always been a hot topic in the field of linguistics.There is a large number of verbs continuous in the language of Miao.The study object of this paper is Yanghao Miao Language(Qiandong Miao Dialect-northern local dialect standard pronunciation).In order to reflect the true features of the structure of Yanghao Miao Language,This paper uses the method of literature,field survey to make a thorough and detailed description of the Yanghao Miao language.The paper consist five chapters,which are as follows:Chapter 1:Prolegomenon.This chapter mainly introduces the research object,the literature review,the research significance,the research method and the source of the corpus.Chapter 2:This chapter describes the Yanghao Miao language serial verbs construction's type.According to the combination of verbs,there are four main types of Yanghao Miao language:S+V1+O+V2,S+V1+V 2+O and S+V1+O1+V2+O2,In this chapter,different types of structure of the Yanghao Miao language serial verbs construction are described in detail,and some examples are given.In addition,this chapter also gives a brief analysis of the grammaticalization of the Yanghao Miao language serial verbs construction.Chapter 3:This chapter describes the syntactic features of the Yanghao Miao language serial verbs construction,which are icon sequencing,monopredicative reading,monoclausality,grammatical category sharing,argument sharing,semantic correlation and prosodic features of coherence.Chapter 4:This chapter analyzes the Yanghao Miao language serial verbs construction's semantics in detail.According to the relationship between the Yanghao Miao language serial verbs construction'sverbs,its semantic relations can be categorized as nine semantic relations:time sequence,mode-behavior,behavior-purpose,behavior-result,complementarity,causal relationship,express the wish,presentation of the premise,and representation hypothesis.Chapter 5:Based on the previous chapters,this chapter summarizes the research findings,basic points of this paper,and the shortcomings and problems to be further studied.
