As our country puts a high value on the development of higher vocational education, society’s demands for higher vocational education become higher and higher and the responsibilities of higher vocational education has been increased greatly. Dali Vocational and Technical College of Agriculture and Forestry, which is a newly established vocational college, urgently needs a well-compiled Chinese school-based curriculum with strong pertinence to make sure of the realization of school running aims and talent training objectives. Meanwhile, the Chinese school-based curriculum aims to solve problems that emerge in Chinese teaching.Based on college reality, students, geographical features and other factors, the thesis develops a Chinese school-based curriculum independently by the questionnaire,literature study, observation, empirical research, case studies and other research methods. Depending on humanities, moral education, practical writing, practical application, cultural heritage of the Bai people, the Chinese school-based curriculum aims to cultivate students’ reading ability, writing ability, ability to appreciate literature, language skills, live performance, to make students have colorful emotion experience, to help students form a correct concept of right and wrong and a positive outlook on life and to provide support for education by cultivating workers who have good overall qualities and talents who are professional and skilled for society.The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter introduces characteristics of Dali Vocational and Technical College of Agriculture and Forestry,problems and reason analysis in Chinese teaching. The second chapter illustrates that the development of Chinese school-based curriculum in Dali Vocational and Technical College of Agriculture and Forestry is very necessary from the policies of our country and high vocational education, students’ personality development,Chinese teachers’ professional development, regional development of Dali. Moreover,it proposes the specific designing plan of Chinese school-based curriculum of Dali Vocational and Technical College of Agriculture and Forestry. The third chapter chooses the outstanding texts from five modules of the Chinese school-basedcurriculum including humanities, moral education, practical writing, practical application and cultural heritage of the Bai people in order to make a detailed teaching design and go on live teaching. According to continuous feedback, it intends to improve curriculum and achieve teaching effect better.
