This article is about an investigation of play theory on raising Kunming secondary school deaf students’ self-awareness,the paper attempts to solve the problem is to understand the status of Kunming secondary deaf student’ self-awareness, and through introducing the method of play therapy into the teaching process, by the investigation to find out whether play therapy to improve the development of Kunming deaf student self-awareness is feasible.The article has two research methods,which are the qualitative research and the quality of research.Through qualitative research method, collects lots of non-standard real, it provides the reality basis for exploring the feasibility of play therapy, through standardized tests and self-report questionnaire survey-to obtain theoretical support data.A sample of 56 Deaf students were tested by the Piers-Harris Children’s Self-concept scale. through collecting and sorting of data, the following results:First, the Kunming secondary deaf students self-consciousness overall development level is low, implement necessary intervention for deaf students change their self-awareness development realistic need.Second, through the play therapy, to improve deaf students self concept is feasible, in raising the overall level of deaf students self-consciousness development would not be effective.Third, this study game scheme can effectively improve the ability of the deaf students’ ego identity, promote the deepening of the concept of self.Fourth, gender, and age is not the key factor affecting the development of deaf students self-consciousness, information effective interaction with the outside world is the important factor to promote the development of their sense of self.
