A Study On The Cultural Construction Of Changzhi Rural Culture

Rural cultural construction includes not only the construction of cultural entities, but also organizational culture, folk culture, cultural activities. Their development is decided to interaction between them and mutual coordination. Rural cultural construction is an important part of The Socialist Countryside Construction. Country and local government should give high attention. In this paper, it has been researched the status of rural cultural construction in Changzhi City and investigated the infrastructure of the cultural entity in Changzhi that includes roads, cultural facilities, medical equipment, libraries, broadcast and other media, which found rural broadcast, television and communication and other basic cultural facilities have full covered into. Reading room of countryside and other public cultural sites have been improved and expanded in the process of rural cultural construction in recent years. In addition, Changzhi City paid specially attention to native culture of mining. By the means of rich cultural conditions, different counties have unearthed own unique folk culture. On propaganda and promotion, Changzhi’s government has given to vigorously support, advocacy, and organizing activities or participating in competitions. Another part of the folk culture also has been applied for and protected of intangible cultural heritage.This paper also has investigated the types of folk culture, intangible cultural heritage, red culture, folklore of various counties in Changzhi City, which found that the major counties have certain similarities in the folk culture, but different counties have different characteristics in the non-material cultural heritage and that red culture mainly exists in Wuxiang County and folk literature mainly exists in the Changzhi County.In this study, it has been reviewed the draw points and shortcomings in the cultural construction of rural Changzhi City and summarized the shortage of rural construction in China in a whole culture. This study will not only help research Changzhi City folk culture, but also provide a theoretical basis for the construction of rural culture.
