An Analysis Of Stravinsky 's Theory Of "Order"

Igor Stravinsky(1882-1971)was one of the noted composers in 1920 s.In his time,he was quite well-known as well as fairly influential for his unique composition and his peculiar musical thoughts.In his writing politics of music,the word most frequently used is “order”,which remains the main idea and significant element in the writing.Based on the theory of order in politics of music,my thesis discusses the musical idea and creation process of Stravinsky.My thesis includes two main parts:taking the book politics of music as the research object,the first one illustrates systematically and concludes specifically the ideas of the order theory;the second one,from the perspective of his works,analyzes the correlations between his idea and his product.
