Translation Strategies And Application Of Flowing Sentences In Chinese - English Communication

By analyzing the common problems in interpreting Chinese run-on sentences, this thesis discusses the interpreting strategies of Chinese run-on sentences. By figuring out three reasons which influence the interpreting quality of Chinese run-on sentences, this thesis uses many examples to analyze the common problems in interpreting Chinese run-on sentences and lists four interpreting strategies of Chinese run-on sentences---cutting sentences in a proper way, analyzing the logic, finding the right subjects and using transitions. This thesis uses many examples to analyze every strategy and its application. These interpreting strategies will provide some guidance to the interpreters in C-E consecutive interpretation.
