Contrastive Study Of Adversative Complex Sentences In Japanese And Chinese

Whether in Chinese or Japanese, the adversative complex sentences is such a veryimportant sentence that it is not only a important part in linguistic research but a keyand the difficult point in Chinese language teaching and Japanese learning as well. Thearticle has a comparative research on transition sentences between Japanese andChinese by the following parts such as the definition and classification of Japaneseand Chinese transition sentence、semantic features of forms of expression and Chineseand Japanese uncorresponding to the transition sentence.First of all, the article definite the basis for comparison which is a commonlogical semantic as a basis for comparison. First, Japanese and Chinese are twodifferent languages all though they both use Chinese character. Second, any form oflanguage should show some semantic and the semantic vector is a form of language.So comparing different of forms of semantics is feasible. Third, forms of eachlanguage are different, but certain areas of the semantic is the same or even consistent.We may cause some misunderstanding to describe any of those languages because ofdifferent representation of each language、different words、different scope of meaningand collar. In order to common basis for comparison, it is important to use logic todefine.Secondly, the article divides the adversative complex sentences into three typeswhich are vertical transition sentence、concession-type transition sentence and falseturn transition sentence. The it makes analysis and interpretation of the sentence of thedefinition and connotation to these three types of transition.Then the article describes forms of expression of these three types of transitionsentence in Japanese and Chinese. In addition to the description of association betweenthe words common, but also it describes the characteristics of the respective semantic.At last, the article compares the expression differences and similarities of Japanese andChinese and describes the analysis.
