An Experimental Phonological Analysis Of The Tone Of Ying County Dialect

Shanxi dialect because of its internal complexity and entering the retention and become a unique part of the northern dialect, in recent years the study of Shanxi dialect has formed certain system. The Yingxian County dialect, as a part of the Shanxi dialect, has attracted little attention. The research on it is relatively scarce, and there are some arguments in the existing conclusions. Such as seminal in the partition of Shanxi Dialects mentioned in Yingxian dialect belongs to the dialects in Shanxi Wutai tablets, specific tone Yinping 53, Yangping 31, Shangsheng 55, Qusheng 24, Rusheng 54, and Wang linhui that all tones in Yingxian dialect tone should be Yinping 31, Yangping 313, Shangsheng 54, Qusheng 24 and Rusheng 32.Therefore, we hope that based on the previous description of Shanxi dialect and Yingxian dialect, with the method of experimental phonetics, to determine the specific tone of Yingxian dialect. The experimental results show that the specific tone of Yingxian County dialect tone for the Yinping 51, Yangping 31, Shangsheng 451, Qusheng 13,Rusheng 42.At the same time, from the perspective of social linguistics, the county dialect is divided into groups. The synchronic phonetic differences may provide the track of diachronic evolution. We also try to explore the historical evolution of Yingxian County dialect from the perspective of synchronic, and find some of the changes in pronunciation. For example, Yingxian County dialect tone is gradually disappearing, the female pitch value is slightly higher than male. Finally, according to the results of our experiments, the historical reasons for these changes are discussed.
