The Practice Of "Detective Sherlock" In English Drama

Based on the practice of consecutive interpretation of the TV series-Sherlock, this thesis summarizes and analyses all the problems that the writer of this thesis came across in the process of interpreting. Then, the thesis introduces some skills that can be used to solve these problems.This thesis consists of three parts. The first part gives an introduction to the context, the objectives, the features and the significance of the CI task. The second part focuses on the description of the interpretation process at three levels, namely, “pre-interpreting preparation”, “adjustment in the interpreting process”, and “post- interpreting summary”. The last part is an overall analysis of the problems that occurred in the interpreting task at four levels: listening comprehension, notes, effort model and psychological states.Based on the analysis of these problems,the thesis has made a summary ofthe skills used in the practice, the purpose of which is to provide possible reference to the beginners of interpreting.
