Christopher Nolan is a famous Hollywood commercial film director. As a prolific filmmaker,his films have been touted in recent years and spoke highly of the critics of fans. Nolan’s film has highly personal characters and theme profoundly rich in philosophy, he shaped the characters are mostly ordinary people in marginalized groups or heterogeneous molecules. Most of these people unsociable behavior strange, but tirelessly pursuing the goal of self-realization. Lack of social identity character in the film is Nolan frequently discussed issues they lonely, confused, in life constantly trying to interpret themselves, out of the woods. Nolan shaping these kinds of characters, from the lone hero to a voyeur, to save humanity from destruction by terrorists astronauts to the city, they are full of complex side of human nature, so that the audience for the human good and evil glance. In these roles, Nolan shaped villain particularly prominent, with respect to the protagonist worse. For example, in its Nolan directed the film "Batman: The Dark Knight" in the shape of the Joker in the original comic books on the basis of a more profound process, called Hollywood villain image of a model of great research and reference value.This paper is divided into five chapters, each introduced and discussed as well as its shape Nolan movie characters, the film focuses on the analysis of the villain, and the value of different characters in the Context of inquiry and, finally, its characterization of reference.The first chapter describes the first part of director Christopher Nolan features were introduced Nolan and his deeds, its labyrinthine narrative mode and unique directing style; the second part of a review shaping Nolan film roles, respectively, to investigate the specific topics and the fate of the characters of the movie role.The second chapter of Nolan fashioned villain depth of study to be analyzed from the personality, psychology, practices and so on. This chapter will be analysis from two aspects which are western cultural values and Chinese cultural context context, looking for similarities and differences, in order to find the villain Nolan on shaping the world cinema,especially reference value of domestic films.
