“The Grand Budapest Hotel” is undoubtedly a number of black horse of the film industry in2015, won numerous glory on the major awards. The film’s director Wes Anderson also began to be attentioned in the domestic. Although Wes Anderson is a niche director, he already has become a shining star of American independent film industry. Since 1994, with the debut of “Bottle Rocket”,he has taken eight films, three short films, and involved in commercial advertising.Wes Anderson’s films extremely personal style.Even in the midst of Hollywood commercial system,he can still adhere to express the independent spirit and consciousness of the author. His films with a visual image of the easily recognizable style,in the form of the system also contains a variety of means, combined with his unique aesthetic perspective and attention to detail, fun of the accused,forming a Wes Anderson tabbed film aesthetic style.This article places eight Wes Anderson’s films: "Bottle Rocket", "Rushmore", "The Royal Tenenbaums", "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", "The Darjeeling Limited", "Moonrise Kingdom", "The Fantastic Mr. Fox", "The Grand Budapest Hotel" as the research object, from an aesthetic point of view, that is, the aesthetic as a research academic or methodological perspective of Wes Anderson’s films. Using the literature research and case analysis, to explore the aesthetic rule and style characteristics of Wes Anderson’s films.Thus generalize the beauty of thought,audiovisual and narration in Wes Anderson’s films.The first chapter of this paper is the introduction, in this chapter elaborated the background and significance of the research.Wes Anderson’s creative background and history of the sort are involved in the background section.Then summarized the research status of domestic and abroad related to this paper,and made a brief statement to the research ideas and research methods.The second chapter explores the aesthetic implication of Wes Anderson’s films. First of all,made a definition and theoretical retrospect to the title "auteur" of Wes Anderson.And summarized the causes of Wes Anderson’s author style.Secondly,on the specific film text, analyzed and summarized the humanism color to express the theme of the film and the thought of existentialism in Wes Anderson’s films.The third chapter is main to analyze the narrative aesthetics of Wes Anderson’s films,including the author of reflections of narrative technique, character setting skills,narrative perspective and narrative aesthetic style. In part of the character setting skills, using the mirror theory of Lacan to analyze the roles how to shape and effect each other. The fourth chapterdissected the labelled audio-visual language of Wes Anderson’s films from four applications:the use of color, motion lens, picture composition and props as a symbol.The fifth chapter is conclusion part.First to make a final summary of the whole research,.Then pointed out Wes Anderson’s films, which can be used for reference,the research value and cultural significance.At last put forward to the future potential research directions and topics.
